Naula, Palmgren Selected to WCC Men's Golf All-Academic Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference (WCC) announced today its Men's Golf Academic Team and honorees for the 2026 season.
For San Francisco, Renato Naula and Svante Palmgren were both selected to the team for the second straight year. For Naula, it marks his third consecutive appearance on the team.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an All-Academic Team for each conference-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to their team and in at least their second year at their school.
The All-Academic Team is consistent with the number of individuals on the All-Conference Team. Due to a tie in the voting, this year's team will include 11 members. Along with the All-Academic Team, 14 student-athletes earned All-Academic honorable mention selection.
Naula finished the fall 2025 semester with a 4.00 grade point average (GPA) as he pursues a degree in management. Palmgren is studying business analytics and finished the fall with a 3.93 GPA.
