Three Dons Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. - Three members of the University of San Francisco (USF) men's golf team - Renato Naula, Nils Svanberg, and Svante Palmgren, have been named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division I, announced today by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Naula finished the academic year with a 3.62 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in management, Svanberg recorded a 3.51 GPA while also studying management, and Palmgren finished with a 3.86 GPA while pursuing a degree in Business Analytics.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. Delaware, East Carolina, and Lamar tied for the most recipients from one school in NCAA Division I with six.
