- David was named an assistant coach of the beach volleyball team in the fall of 2025.
- Spent roughly five years coaching for the Dakine volleyball club out of the Seattle, Wash., area, helping guide them to multiple top 10 finishes at the BVCA National Championships (2019-2024).
- For the 2024-25 season, he coached for 692 West out of San Diego, Calif.
- Served as an assistant/pitching coach at Pierce College's baseball team out of Lakewood, WA, for five seasons (2019-2024).
- As an athlete, he competed for the baseball team at Tennessee Wesleyan.
