CAREER HIGHLIGHTS AT SAN FRANCISCO:

Emily Cook was elevated to Head Beach Volleyball Coach on August 19, 2025.
A member of the beach volleyball coaching staff since 2022, Cook has spent the last two seasons as the associate head coach, helping guide the Dons to a combined 21 victories.
She has overseen a program that has compiled double-digit wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history, and coached Moorea Wood and Letizia Aquilino to All-WCC Second Team honors, as well as Jette Morris and Burkleigh Smith to WCC All-Freshman Team selections.
Was honored with the AVCA Thirty under 30 Beach Award in 2021.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

Served as Director of Operations for Indoor Volleyball for two seasons at LMU.
Assistant Director and coach at Surfside Volleyball Club for season seasons.
Varsity Assistant for Mira Costa High School, led the team to a Bay League Championship.

PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS:

Competed at Pepperdine where she led the Waves to two National AVCA Titles on the beach in 2012 and 2014.
Left Pepperdine ranked third in program history in total wins (90).
Named to the All-Freshman Team in 2010 for indoor volleyball.
Led Pepperdine to the West Coast Conference title and an NCAA top-eight finish in 2012.
Named AAU National Player of the year in 2008 for beach volleyball.
Won a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in 2007 and a silver medal in 2008.
Inducted into Pepperdine Hall of Fame as a member of the 2012 beach volleyball championship team.
