USF Soccer Hosts Successful Negoesco Scrimmage

Dons Welcome Alumni, Fans and Youth to the Hilltop
(San Francisco) – USF men's soccer welcomed fans, alumni and supporters to the Hilltop for the annual Negoesco Scrimmage Saturday at Negoesco Stadium. The Dons hosted a successful youth clinic and then showcased their talent in a highly competitive inter-squad scrimmage.
USF soccer legend Steve Negoesco was on hand for the festivities and addressed the team prior to the well attended youth clinic. The NSCAA Hall-of-Famer was joined by several former players on a gorgeous day on the Hilltop.
REGULAR SEASON OPENER ON THE HORIZON: USF men's soccer kicks off the 2011 regular season Friday, August 26 when it welcomes ancient Bay Area rival No. 9 Cal to the Hilltop. Match time against the Golden Bears is set for 7:00 PM.
