(San Francisco) – San Francisco women's soccer announces its 2012 Spring Schedule, featuring four matches with a home match against crosstown rival San Francisco State Friday, March 30. The Dons look for a productive spring campaign under the direction of new head coach Jim Millinder to prepare for what promises to be an optimistic Fall season for the Green and Gold competing in one of the nation's premier conferences.
USF opens the spring campaign against the Gators under the lights at Negoesco Stadium. Kick-off against SFSU is set for 7:00 PM and admission is free to the public.
San Francisco plays its final three spring contests on road. The Dons travel to 2011 NCAA Tournament participant Long Beach State Saturday, April 14. After taking on The Beach, which advanced to the fourth round of the NCAAs last season, the Dons will head to the Central Valley to take on Fresno State Saturday, April 21. Game time against the Bulldogs is set for 2:00 PM.
USF closes out the spring in the South Bay against longtime rival San Jose State Saturday, April 28. Kick-off against the Spartans is set for 1:00 PM.
