San Francisco Athletics has signed a multi-year agreement, during which the worldwide footwear and apparel company, Nike, will be the official outfitter of Dons Athletics. San Francisco's Athletic Director,
Scott Sidwell, made the announcement Thursday.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Nike for all of our teams,” commented Sidwell. “Nike is the leader in the footwear and sports performance apparel industry. Our student athletes will be benefit the greatest from our department wide relationship. We are excited to become a member of the Nike family as we aim higher for our teams and compete nationally for championships.”
San Francisco Athletics kicks off the 2012-13 athletic season Friday when women's soccer opens the 2012 campaign at San Jose State. Sunday, the Dons will return home to host Fresno State at 1 p.m. the women's game will be immediated followed by the annual Men's Green and Gold Scrimmage.
