Just the Facts, Ma'am
The University of San Francisco women's basketball team plays at War Memorial Gym for the last time in 2013, as the Dons host the UMKC Kangaroos on the Hilltop. This marks the second time the Dons and the Roos have met in  program history.

Boise State Remix
For the third straight game, the Dons found themselves down by double-digits in the first half, but USF was undeterred by the slow start. USF nabbed its first lead of the game with 11:55 remaining, and never relinquished the advantage back to the Broncos at the Taco Bell Center.

Rachel Howard paced the team with 20 points and four steals while Aundrea Gordon netted 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting and four assists for the Dons.

Freshman Hashima Carothers added a career-high 12 points and five rebounds, including the offensive board and resulting pair of free throws to seal the 76-70 victory.

What 2 Watch 4
The Dons sport a 4-5 record heading into the final week of non-conference action. Howard, a freshman from Berkeley, Calif., leads the Dons' scoring charge, posting 14.3 points per game.  Zhané Dikes  adds 12.2 points per game, and Taj Winston puts up 11.7 per contest, to round out USF's double-digit scorers. Freshman Claudia Price leaps for 6.7 rebounds a game, and has scooped up  a team-leading 60 rebounds in USF's first nine games.

Jamie Katuna, a junior from Longmont, Colo., leads the WCC in 3-point percentage (.615), while Howard's 85.7 percent shooting from the line is third in the conference. Overall, the Dons are third (.732) in the league in free throw shooting.

Know the Foe - UMKC
UMKC is led by San Francisco native Eilise O'Connor, who pours in an average of 19.0 points per game on .386 shooting, and adds a team-leading 4.5 assists per contest. Kim Nezianya paces the Roos with 8.4 rebounds per game. UMKC enters War Memorial Gym winning three out of its last four games, most recently earning an overtime win against Texas Southern.

USF & UMKC - The Series
The Dons and the Kangaroos have met but once in the past. In that game, USF beat UMKC, 78-66, at War Memorial Gym on Nov. 23, 2007.

On the Air
Listen to longtime voice of the Dons, George Devine behind the mic all season long. Devine is in his 18th season as the play-by-play voice of USF women's basketball.

Devine's Dimes
"It's hard to believe this is the last Dons home game of non-conference play! It feels weird that WCC play is a little more than a week away.  Many of us "old timers" remember when non-conference play often stretched into January, before two more teams joined the WCC.

"It will be great to see Kansas City's Eilise O'Connor play on The Hilltop.  I called a few of her high school games, including a couple of St. Ignatius-Sacred Heart showdowns here at USF!"

Dishing and Swishing
Sixth Woman
Junior Jamie Katuna has opened the non-conference portion of the season on a tear, shooting 62.1 percent from the field and averaging 7.1 points a game off the bench. She is 8-of-13 on the season from beyond the arc to lead the West Coast Conference.

Line It Up
The Dons have relied on the same starting five for all but three contests - looking to Dikes, Howard, Proctor, Spietz and Winston in the first six games of the season. Claudia Price notched her first collegiate start in USF's victory over UNLV on Dec. 6, in place of Taylor Proctor.

Comeback Kids
The Dons overcame a 16-point deficit to UNLV before roaring back for the 62-61 victory on Dec. 6. The comeback margin in the largest in the Jennifer Azzi era.

Two games later, USF came back from 12 down in the first half at Boise State to post the come-from-behind road victory, solidifying their status as comeback kids.

USF had not come back from a double-digit deficit in the previous three seasons, but have notched comebacks from nine down on two occasions - vs. LMU (12/31/11) and vs. Pepperdine (2/28/13).

On the Horizon
The Dons hit the road to square off with Fresno State in its final non-conference game of the season at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20.
