USF Wraps Up Play at Peg Barnard Invitational

Dons finish 13th with 36-hole score of 639
Final Results
STANFORD, Calif. -- USF's women's golf team wrapped up play this afternoon at the Peg Barnard Invitational at Stanford Golf Course, where the Dons carded a final round 321 to finish 13th, 17 strokes behind 12th place Santa Clara.
Stanford shot a final round 280 (-4) to claim the team title with a final 36-hole total of 569 (+1), earning a 16-shot victory over Calfornia, which faded after a final round 298 (+14).
Stanford's Mariah Stackhouse shot a final round 61 on her home course to earn medalist honors with a final score of 130 (-12), 10 shots better than Regina DeGuzman of San Jose State and Demi Dumas of UC Davis.
Freshman Emelie Lundstrom was USF's top finisher at 47th place with a final score of 156 (+14). Lundstrom, who began the day tied for 21st, slipped back into the pack after a final round 82.
Senior Egylo Oskarsdottir shot a final round 83 to finish at 159 (+17), good for a share of 54th place.
Sophomore Amanda Corr tied for 59th at 161 (+19). She shaved seven strokes off her Saturday score and carded a final round 77.
USF's low round of the day belonged to Victoria House, who shot a four-over 75 and finished tied for 62nd at 162 (+20). House had two birdies, three bogeys and a triple bogey on her card today.
After posting an opening round 84 on Saturday, sophomore Peppiia Kaija closed with a 79 and finished in 63rd place at 163 (+21).
Sophomore Michelle Condy struggled to a 93 today and finished in 73rd place at 181 (+39).
USF will return to action on Feb. 25-26 at the Cal Classic which will be held at the Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton.
