SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Dons hosted another successful Battle in the Bay Classic at The California Tennis Club with competitive tennis play throughout the entire weekend.
The championship winner of the open singles bracket was Nick Crystal of USC who played a rigorous three set match against California's Andre Goransson, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Crystal and Connor Farren of USC claimed the title for the open doubles bracket. They served up a win in the finals against the UC Davis duo of Alec Adamson and Adam Levie, third seed in the doubles draw, 8-6.
No Dons saw action on the court for the last day of tournament play.
"Thank you to all the coaches and players," said head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida.
Next up for the Dons will be the ITA Regional Tournament, which will be hosted by Stanford on Oct. 18
