Dons Fall to Nevada in Aggie Invitational

Davis, Calif. –– In the quarterfinal round of the doubles draw at the Aggie Invitational on Saturday, USF's Woravin Kumthonkittikul and Jerod Mah lost to Santa Clara's Andrew Gu and Robert Seby 8-2. With the loss, the Dons are eliminated from the tournament.
Playing doubles for the first time together, Kumthonkittikul and Mah won their opening round match on Friday, beating Nevada's Ryan Andrada and Jonathan Aremon 8-6. However, the Dons duo struggled on Saturday and were unable to advance to the semifinal round.
This weekend, Kumthonkittikul, Mah and Marco Barretto all made their first appearances for the Dons in the Green and Gold.
Next up for the Dons is a trip to Seattle, Wash. to participate in the ITA Regional Tournament, beginning on Oct. 16.
