wccstats.comGame notes (PDF)• The Buzz •USF enters Tuesday's West Coast Conference Finals for the first time since 1997, and seeks to repeat the history made nearly two decades ago - winning the title.
After a day of upsets Monday, the Dons take on the No. 5 seed, BYU, for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It will be the first postseason meeting between the two teams, and just the 13th all-time in the series. Similar to USF's semifinal foe, San Diego, both regular-season games came down to the finish, with the Cougars taking three- and five-point wins.
The Dons look to become the first No. 6 seed to win the WCC Championship and punch their ticket to the Big Dance.
