Alum Tiyouri sets Israel National Record at 5000m

POMONA, Calif. -- Former Don Maor Tiyouri won her 5,000 meter heat at the Mt. Sac Invitational on Friday, racing to a personal best and a new Israeli national record.
Tiyouri, currently training with the Boulder Track Club, finished the race with a time of 16:08.83, breaking the previous record of 16:09.88, set by Nili Abramski in 2002.
Maor was a member of San Francisco's 2013 cross country team who finished 19th at NCAA Championships, as well as a four time NCAA qualifier on the track. She is second all-time at USF in the 10,000 m.
