SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's soccer goalkeeper
Olivia Camera, who recorded a clean sheet in the win against #6-ranked Cal and had a career-high 10 saves in the double overtime tie against Cal Poly, has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of August 21.
Camera, a native of Potomac Falls, Va., recorded six saves while shutting out Cal helping the Dons to a 1-0 victory, their first win against the Bears since 1995.
Against Cal Poly, Camera tied a career-high with 10 saves while playing all 110 minutes in the double overtime 2-2 tie.
This is Camera's first WCC Player of the Week honor of her USF career.
