SAN FRANCISCO — The Battle in the Bay hosted by the University of San Francisco's tennis program will be featured in this week's episode of the USF's cable television show "Behind the Mask." Over the past 10 years, the Battle in the Bay has been hosted at the California Tennis Club and begun by simply inviting local schools from around the Bay Area to compete in the tournament. As the idea kept flourishing, the Battle in the Bay has grown into the most well-known, premier tournament in the country, attracting nationally ranked teams from across the nation.

Schools that compete in the Battle in the Bay tournament are Wake Forest University, University of Texas, Stanford, TCU, USC, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Michigan, Cal Poly, Texas Tech, Fresno State, San Diego State, UC Santa Barbara, University of San Diego, Pacific, Pepperdine, Santa Clara, and Sacramento State.

Check local listings for your cable provider's station guide and additional air dates and times each month. Segments from the show, as well as past seasons of "Behind the Mask," can also be found on-demand on USF Athletics' Youtube channel.
