SAN FRANCISCO — Erin Anthony was expected to carry a heavy load from the second she stepped on the University of San Francisco campus in 2017, and she has met that challenge admirably, already surpassing 1,400 career assists as the Dons' starting setter for the past two seasons.
Â
In this week's spotlight on Erin, featured in the latest episode of USF's cable television show "Behind the Mask," she talks about where she derived her strength to meet those challenges – from her very strong and successful parents. Anthony's mom, Robin, has been one of the best business owners in their hometown of Houston since she started her business, "Renu Herbs," and her dad, Eric, was a Major League Baseball player that played nine seasons at the highest level of the game.
