SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco athletics department and the SF Athletic Club are pleased to announce that they have partnered up to offer fans an exciting option to gather and watch all the men's basketball road games starting with Saturday's contest at Pepperdine.
Frank Allocco, the Senior Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, announced the partnership stating; "We are excited to welcome the San Francisco Athletic Club into the Dons sponsorship family. These Watch Parties will provide our Dons Fans with an opportunity to come together to enjoy USF Basketball in an exciting and comfortable venue. We hope our fans will enjoy many road victories while surrounded by loyal fans of the City's Team!"
The SF Athletic Club, located on the corner of Divisadero and Bush, boasts 28 high definition TVs as well as a full bar, with local wine and beer, great signature cocktails, and tasty food. The watch parties will take place during all men's basketball away games, as well as the official home of the Hilltop Hoops Hour on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. with host
Pat Olson.
Due to the Holiday schedule, the first official event at the SF Athletic Club will take place this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when Olson will host head coach
Kyle Smith as well as Joe Hallisy. The first game watch party will be Saturday, January 5
th at 5:00 p.m.
