MALIBU, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco men's tennis team faced Pepperdine at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on Friday afternoon, and the Dons fell 0-4.
Doubles play started with each team getting a match point. Johan Joenhagen and Ryan Marker dropped their match 3-6, but Mert Zincirli and Oliver Poysti came back with a 6-2 win. It came down to Paul Giraud and Marco Barretto's match, but the point went to Pepperdine when the pair lost 3-6.

COACHES CORNER
"This was the most disappointing loss in my history as being the coach of this program. The lack of players that played with discipline and took advantage of the occasion was astounding. My guys need to hold themselves accountable and respond with a better performance tomorrow." — Head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida.
Doubles (order of finish: 1,2,3)
Singles (order of finish: 6,3,4)
