SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco women's basketball associate head coach Katy Steding will appear Tuesday night on the Dons' weekly basketball radio show, "The Hilltop Hoops Hour," on KGMZ-AM 1550 The Game, hosted by USF men's basketball broadcaster Pat Olson at the San Francisco Athletic Club.
Steding will join Olson on the show at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday evening. The weekly show can be found on the dial at 1550-AM. The show is recorded live at the San Francisco Athletic Club and is open to the public.
Steding rejoined the San Francisco women's basketball staff for this season after spending four years as the head coach at Boston University. Steding was previously an associate head coach at USF from 2010-12 under former Stanford and Olympic teammate Jennifer Azzi. Steding brings 16 years of diverse coaching experience back to the Hilltop that includes head, associate and assistant positions at multiple levels from NAIA all the way through NCAA Division I and the WNBA.
The USF women continue West Coast Conference play this week when they travel to Southern California to face Loyola Marymount (Thursday) and Pepperdine (Saturday). Fans can find all live coverage links on USFDons.com.
