SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - With an emphasis on the continued health and safety of the student-athletes and staff in both programs, Saturday's mens basketball game between USF and Saint Mary's will not be played as scheduled due to COVID-19 related protocols within the Gaels program.
Per Coach
Todd Golden: "Our program is disappointed to learn that Saint Mary's is unable to compete tomorrow as scheduled due to COVID protocols within their program. We have worked together with the Gaels to secure a date in February to make up the game during our mutual bye week. We look forward to beginning our conference season next week."
San Francisco will now open West Coast Conference play on the road in Spokane with a matchup at Gonzaga next Thursday, Jan. 6 at 6:00 pm.
