WSOC | Dons Announce 2021 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO – Entering his 10th season on the Hilltop, University of San Francisco women's soccer head coach Jim Millinder is pleased to announce the 2021 schedule. The Dons will play 18 contests, nine non-conference contests and nine West Coast Conference matches this season.
 
"Our non-conference schedule is very challenging playing Cal, Stanford, Oregon and Santa Clara," said Millinder. "Plus, we will make trips out of region to play SMU and Baylor. We are looking forward to it!"
 
The 37th season in program history begins with a Sunday afternoon matinee against visiting Oregon, one of three Pac-12 opponents on the schedule this season, on Aug. 22nd. The Dons will have eight home contests in 2021. USF wraps up August taking on San Jose State in San Jose on Thursday, Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m.
 
USF will play seven non-conference games in September. The first will take the Dons across the Bay Bridge where they will take on California in Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2nd.
 
The following Sunday, Sept. 5, USF will host Big West foe UC San Diego, at 1:00 p.m. at Negoesco Stadium. The Dons will travel south to Stanford, Calif., where they will battle the Cardinal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9.
 
USF will play host to Portland State on Sunday, Sept. 12 before traveling to take on SMU (Sept. 16) and Baylor (Sept. 19) in Texas. The Dons return home to host defending National Champion Santa Clara for a non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Negoesco Stadium.
 
WCC play begins on Sunday, Oct. 2 when USF travels to Moraga to take on rival Saint Mary's. The Dons return home for a contest against Loyola Marymount on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
 
The Dons will play back-to-back road contests beginning with a trip north to Portland taking on the Pilots in the Rose City on Saturday, Oct. 9. The Dons will return to the bay where they will battle the Broncos in WCC play on Saturday, Oct. 16 in Santa Clara.
 
BYU comes to the Hilltop on Wednesday, Oct. 20. The Dons will return to the road on Saturday, Oct. 23 for a game against Pacific in Stockton.
 
The Dons will play two of their last three contests at home when Pepperdine comes to Negoesco Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 30. The Dons will play their final road contest of the regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Gonzaga. USF will host the Toreros for Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 p.m.
