WBB | 2021-22 West Coast Conference Schedule Announced

SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced today the WCC slate for games for the 2021-22 women's basketball season. The double round-robin style conference schedule will feature 18 contests, including nine home games for what promise to be a very exciting Dons team.

USF returns a loaded roster from last year's team that shocked the conference en route to an appearance in the Women's NIT. Fifth year head coach Molly Goodenbour brings back nine letter winners from last year's squad, which includes four starters and WCC Freshman of the Year Ioanna Krimili.

The Dons will open conference play with a big test on the road. USF will travel to Spokane, Wash., to take on Gonzaga on Thursday, Dec. 30. It is the first of four contests for the Dons against teams that earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament last spring.

USF will spend New Year's Day at home, hosting rival Santa Clara on Saturday, Jan. 1. Last season, the Dons swept the season series against the South Bay rival for the first time since 2017-18. USF will remain at home the following Thursday when BYU comes to the Hilltop on Jan. 6.

The Dons will then depart for their longest road trip of the season, a three-game stretch that will see USF play at San Diego on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Portland on Thursday, Jan. 13 and back to Santa Clara on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Thursday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 22, USF returns to the Hilltop to face Pacific and Loyola Marymount. The Dons wrap up with trips to Moraga to face the Gaels on Jan. 27 and to Provo to take on BYU on Saturday, Jan. 29.

February opens with San Diego and Pepperdine coming to The City on Thursday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 5. The following week, the Dons will travel to Stockton to take on the Tigers on Thursday, Feb. 10 before returning home to face the Bulldogs on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Portland makes its trip to the Bay Area with a Thursday evening contest on Feb. 17. The Dons will travel to Southern California to battle the Waves in Malibu on Saturday, Feb. 19.

On the final weekend of the season, USF will travel to LMU on Thursday, Feb. 24. The Dons will host Saint Mary's for Senior Night on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Times and dates for all games are subject to change, for up to the minute information on USF women's basketball be sure to follow the Dons on social media @USFDonsWBB.
