LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Putting together their strongest performance as a team this fall, the University of San Francisco women's golf team climbed the leaderboard each day at the Golf Iconic Classic as the Dons finished fourth overall as a team, which included four student-athletes placing in the top 25 individually.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
"I am extremely excited to see four members of the team finish in the top 25. We fought hard this week and finished on a solid note with the lowest round of the field today! Eva had a phenomenal and consistent performance all week culminating in her first top 10 finish. Our other freshman, Jolie had a bogey-free round shooting 69 in her best finish so far. It was a great team effort and we are looking forward to finishing the fall at Boulder Creek in a few weeks!"
UP NEXT:
USF will use the next two weeks to return to the Bay Area and practice their game plan before their next tournament as the Dons will compete next at The Clash at Boulder Creek from Sunday, Oct. 23 through Tuesday, Oct. 25. Live results will be available via the team's schedule page.
