SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced on Monday morning that USF redshirt junior guard
Ioanna Krimili was picked as the WCC Player of the Week following her historic performances that helped the Dons to a perfect 3-0 week.
Krimili put together a tremendous week in her team's three games as she averaged 22.0 PPG to go along with 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game with highly efficient scoring. Across the Dons' three wins over Penn, South Carolina State and Long Beach State, shooting 20-for-44 from the field, 15-for-29 from three-point range and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line.
Setting a season-high with 35 points in USF's win over the Penn Quakers last Monday, Krimili was able to further cement her status in the USF record books as she's now the program's all-time leader in made three point shots after knocking down eight three-point shots against the Quakers. Ioanna wasn't done etching her way into program lure as her tremendous performance against Penn moved her into 10th place in the Dons' all-time scoring list.
Playing in her team's first back-to-back of the season, Ioanna scored 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field while just playing 21 minutes for the Dons in their 20 point victory over South Carolina State in the first day of the USF Thanksgiving Classic.
Returning to the home floor at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center the next day, Krimili and the Dons put together a dominant performance on both ends of the floor as they defeated Long Beach State by 24 points to cap off the team's perfect week. Ioanna was able to score 18 points to lead the way for USF with six assists and five rebounds against the Beach while knocking down free three point shots in her 36 minutes played.

USF now hits the road for the first time this week as they will take on the CSUN Matadors on Thursday Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. from Northridge. The Dons will then return to the City this Sunday as they will face off with the San Diego State Aztecs at the Chase Center at 2:30 p.m.
