CATCHING UP WITH COACH JONES:
"That was a tough one, we had it and let it slip out of our hands. Gonzaga has bigs that are relentless on the boards, their guards are relentless on the boards and you have to be locked in at all times. We should have won this game but hopefully we will get a rematch in Vegas at the conference tournament, we know we can beat these guys after playing two really close games. This isn't going to feel real good for a while but we know we'll learn from it and be better for it."

UP NEXT:
The Dons will be back at home Thursday night for a big matchup with the Portland Pilots (16-6, 6-4) at 6:00 p.m. at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. USF narrowly fell to Portland in the first meeting in the Pacific Northwest as the Pilots are coming off a weekend loss to Pacific in Stockton.
