BERKELEY, Calif. -- After a tremendous team performance at the MPSF Championships two weeks ago, the USF Dons track and field team is heading to the east bay for their first outdoor meet of the 2022 season at the Cal Opener on Saturday.
Both men's and women's teams will be competing this weekend, with the women's team in Berkeley as the Dons will look to begin their outdoor season with a strong team performance to kick off the month of March. USF will be fielding participants in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3K,100m hurdles and the long jump on Saturday.
While our men's team will be competing this weekend at the West Coast Opener in Hayward to begin their spring campaign. Assistant coach
Steve Fuelling will be leading the squad as USF will field participants in the 3K and 1,500M.
