PINEHURST, N.C. – Set for their fourth tournament of the spring, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will head east to compete in the Wake Forest Invitational at Pinehurst No. 2 on Monday and Tuesday.

- Playing at one of the most pristine courses in the country, Pinehurst No. 2 is the center of Pinehurst Resort as it has hosted a number of prestigious golf tournaments throughout its history including three U.S. Open Championships, one U.S. Women's Open, three U.S. Amateur Championships, one PGA Championship and one Ryder Cup.
- Aiming to get back to their winning ways, USF finished tied for eighteenth overall in their last tournament (The Prestige) as the Dons shot 50-over-297 despite battling gusting winds and sand storms throughout their time in Palm Springs. Despite the unpredictable weather, Matthew Anderson tied for 21st overall with a three-round total of 9-over-222 as this performance marked the fourth time Anderson has finished inside the top 25 individually this year and the fifth time in six tournaments in which he has placed in the top 30.
- Competing against some of the top teams in Division I, four top 35 teams are set to participate at the Wake Forest Invitational: #20 Wake Forest, #24 Clemson, #31 NC State and #32 East Tennessee State.
