CATCHING UP WITH COACH RILEY:
"This was the first big weekend of racing between SF State and Stanford and it was very productive. On the men's side it was awesome to see Hiruy, Joe and Dan go one, two, three in the men's 5K at SF State and it was especially great to have Daniel lower his personal best in the 5K at Stanford. On the women's side, we had a couple of breakthroughs with Abby lowering her personal best by four seconds in the 1,500m, Julia breaking the 2:10 barrier in the 800m and Gabby breaking the school record in the 400m hurdles."
