COLUMBUS, OH. – Back in the postseason for the second year in a row, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will aim to repeat their success from a year ago as the Dons will compete in the Columbus Regional of the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Tournament, which will be played on the Scarlet Course at Ohio State University at the beginning of this week.

- Entering the tournament, USF currently ranks No. 61 as a team in Golfstat's NCAA Division I rankings as the Dons are the third highest ranked team in the WCC (Pepperdine/6, BYU/46). Overall, USF finished in the top five in six of their eleven tournaments, which recently included a fourth0place finish at the WCC Championship at Reflection Bay.
- Individually, Soren Lind and Toby Briggs both capped off their final year in the green and gold by earning All-WCC honors. Notably, this was the third straight year in which Lind was named to the All-WCC team while Briggs was selected for his second all-conference award.
- Last year, USF finished second overall as a team at the Cle Elum Regional as the Dons shot 4-under-868 to advance to the 2021 NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz. Performing under pressure, Soren Lind, Christoffer Palsson and alum Tim Widing all tied for eleventh individually as the Dons reached the championship rounds for the first time in program history.
