Men's Basketball Announces Summer Camps

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's basketball program has officially announced upcoming camps on the Hilltop campus of USF this summer.
Campers will have the opportunity to train with the USF coaching staff as they elevate their game and improve their court skills and knowledge.
At Day Camp, players will work on fine-tuning their skill set through a variety of drills and live game-play competition. Children (ages 6-14) from the Bay Area and beyond are invited to compete and train under Division I coaches to prepare for the 2022 season.
For Elite Camp, high school-aged players are invited to participate in a one-day event designed to showcase their abilities as all campers will receive feedback from the USF coaching staff.

**Please note: Camp schedules and details may be subject to change. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

ELITE CAMP SCHEDULE
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out the mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. This camp does NOT require a doctor's signature on the forms.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. After-care is provided from 3pm - 5pm for $25 per day.
TEAM / GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of eight or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact gfurubayashi@usfca.edu with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a discount.

- Lunch: Pizza will be available for those who are not able to bring a lunch for $3 a slice. Campers are welcomed to bring a sack lunch to camp each day.

- July 1: Elite Camp
- July 25-28: Day Camp II
- Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions!

- Daily Hours: Monday - Thursday (9:00am - 3:00pm)
- Check-in: 8:30am on Monday
- Check-out: 3:00pm on Thursday
- Lunch: Pizza will be available for those who are not able to bring a lunch for $3 a slice. Campers are welcomed to bring a sack lunch to camp each day.
- Program: Day Camp is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals for all positions through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play.
ELITE CAMP SCHEDULE
- Date: July 1
- Ages: 14-18
- Daily Hours: Friday (11:00am - 3:00pm)
- Check-in: 10:00am on Friday
- Check-out: 3:00pm on Friday
- Lunch: Will not be provided.
- Program: This Elite Camp is geared towards high-school-aged players with at least 2-3 years of competitive experience. This challenging program includes combine testing, drills, games, and a seminar on being a Division I athlete.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: High level basketball training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Lunch: Pizza will be available for those who are not able to bring a lunch for $3 a slice (Day Camp only). Campers are welcomed to bring a sack lunch to camp each day.
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at all camps will receive a "Dons Basketball Camp" Nike t-shirt and will be eligible for camp prizes.
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience
- Equipment Needed: Players should wear closed-toed shoes and athletic apparel to each session.
- Facility: Indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: All camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
