SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The University of San FranciscoĀ men's tennis program and head coach
JT SundlingĀ have officially revealed the team'sĀ fall schedule as the 2022-23 season rapidly approaches.Ā
"We are extremely excited for our fall season," Sundling said. "We have several seniors who will be looking to make the most of their final year as well as several freshman who will be leaning on their leadership."Ā
The Dons will begin the fall with the main event on the Hilltop with USF hosting the Battle in the Bay Classic in the City where the best teams from across the country head to the Bay Area to compete over the September 22 weekend.Ā
USF will not stray too far from home as they only have one fall event out of state when they will head north to Seattle for the ITA Super Regionals in late October at the University of Washington.
Rounding out the fall slate of matches will be USF heading east to take on fellow WCC school Pacific at the Tigers' UOP Invitational on November 4 in Stockton. The matches will serve as the program's final fall tune up before real matches begin in the new year.Ā
Following the program's first ITA ranking and postseason appearance in seven years, the Dons will look to build upon the momentum from last spring. USF battled hard at the WCC Championships down in Ojai before ultimately coming up short against Portland.Ā
