ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Hitting the road for the first time this year, the University of San Francisco men's golf team finished eleventh overall as a team at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at The Championship Course at UNM in Albuquerque this weekend.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
"This week was another learning experience to this group. We had some positives to build on, but just had too many errors to get the result we wanted. This season is a marathon and we have no time to worry about the past. We are excited to wake up and prepare to compete tomorrow in Washington D.C."
UP NEXT:
USF will continue their road trip as the Dons will head east to the Washington D.C. area for the Howard/USF Intercollegiate this upcoming Monday and Tuesday. Set to co-host the tournament with Howard University at TPC Potomac at Avenal Farm, USF will focus on equity and inclusion in the sport of golf as three HBCU schools will also be competing in the event. Notably, this will mark the first of a two-year event as the tournament will shift to TPC Harding Park in San Francisco next fall.
