POTOMAC, MD – Following their tournament in New Mexico, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will head east to the Washington D.C. area as the Dons will co-host the Howard/USF Intercollegiate at TPC Potomac at Avenal Farm on Monday and Tuesday.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last time out, the Dons finished eleventh overall as a team (11-over-227) at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque on Friday and Saturday this past week. Individually, Matthew Anderson placed as the highest individual for USF as he tied for 41st overall (5-over-221) in the final standings.
- Having hosted numerous prestigious golf events including the Wells Fargo Championship, this tournament at TPC Potomac will be focused on equity and inclusion within the sport of golf as three HBCU schools will be competing in the event: Howard, Alabama State and Alabama A&M. Next year, Howard and USF will co-host the tournament on the West Coast as it will move to TPC Harding Park in San Francisco in the fall of 2023.
- Looking ahead, the Howard/USF Intercollegiate will mark the third tournament of the fall for the Dons as USF is set to compete in the Wolfpack Classic (hosted by Nevada) in Reno, Nev. on Oct. 11 and 12 followed by The Cal Poly Invitational in Carmel Valley, Calif.
