ERIE, Colo. – Coming off a strong fourth place finish at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, the University of San Francisco men's golf teams travels to Colorado for the Mark Simpson Intercollegiate at Colorado National Golf Club to begin the week.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last time out, San Francisco recorded their second straight top five finish as th Dons finished fourth overall at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the Championship Course at UNM in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Individually, Jakob Melin also tallied his second consecutive top five finish to begin the year as the sophomore finished 9-under-207 (72, 75, 70).
- Playing in the Simpson for the second time in three years, the green and gold tied for second overall at the tournament in 2021 after shooting 36-under (828/81, 267, 280) as a team.
- Beginning their schedule with a rigorous month of golf, this tournament will mark the third event in four weeks for the Dons as USF will return home to the Bay Area to compete at the Alister McKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club on Monday, Oct. 9 and Tuesday, Oct. 10.
