MALIBU, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country teams begin postseason play when it competes in the West Coast Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Alumni Park.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- The Dons shined in the final regular season meet two weeks ago as the programs earned top finishes at the Bronco Invitational. The women's team grabbed second place while the men earned a fourth-place finish.
- Jacob Cann and Ed Buck led the men's team in the regular-season finale, earning top-five finishes. Cann led the Dons with a second-place finish out of 150 competitors with a career-best time of 23:20.0. Buck crossed the finish line in fourth place, reaching a season-best time of 23:29.6.
- On the women's side, Yasmine Abbes continued her impressive first season with the team, placing fourth out of 187 runners. Her record time of 19:59.4 marked the first time she had posted a sub-20 minute time in the 6,000 meters.
- Grace Copeland and Nátalie Hluší also contributed to the efforts, finishing back-to-back in 18th and 19th, respectively.
- Last season, the women's team posted a second-place finish in the WCC Championships while the men grabbed sixth at Newhall Community Park in Portland, Ore.
