San Francisco Heads to Fairfax for Alister MacKenzie Invitational

FAIRFAX, Calif. – After securing their first tournament win in Colorado last week, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will make a short trip north to Fairfax for the Alister McKenzie Invitational at the Meadow Club to begin the week. Notably, this will mark the fourth tournament for the Dons in the last four weeks.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- In their last time on the course, the Dons took home their first trophy of the year after a tremendous outing at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo., which saw the the Dons earned their first team win of the year. As a team, San Francisco shot 19-under (276, 282, 287), two strokes better than host Colorado who finished in second.
- Individually in last week's tournament, the green and gold had two top-five finishers last week as Renato Naula (70, 69, 71) and Ben Partridge (67, 71, 72) were tied for third-place after each shooting 6-under-216.
- San Francisco will return to the Bay Area to compete locally for the second time this season after opening their 2023-24 schedule with the Howard/USF Intercollegiate at TPC Harding Park. Overall, the Dons will be competing in the Alister McKenzie Invitational for the first time since Oct. 8 + 9, 2018 when USF finished ninth overall.
