SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Climbing back in the second half for a thrilling win on their home floor, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (8-3) overcame a fifteen-point deficit on Wednesday night as the Dons held on down the stretch to take down Seattle U (6-4), 62-59, at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Seattle U opened the scoring with a made three-pointer from Cameron Tyson at the 18:51 mark, but Mike Sharavjamts evened things up 23 seconds later with a made triple of his own to get the Dons on the board at 18:28.
- Finding momentum early, the Redhawks frustrated the Dons defensively as Seattle U used a 9-2 run to take a 15-7 lead at the 13:05 mark after a second chance three from Paris Dawson.
- Near the midway mark of the first half, the Redhawks kept it rolling as five consecutive points from Cameron Tyson put Seattle U up 22-9.
- In the minutes to follow, the green and gold continued to fight as a jumper from Marcus Williams at 6:59 trimmed USF's deficit to eight, 27-19. Following a two-hand slam from Volodymyr Markovetskky less than two minutes later that capped off a 10-0 run, San Francisco was within four points, 27-23, with 5:29 remaining in the first half.
- Responding with a 5-0 run of their own shortly therafter, Seattle U jumped back up by nine, 32-23, with 3:35 left on the clock, but the Dons would score the last two field goals of the half to trail by seven heading into the locker room, 34-27.
- Out of the break, back-to-back triples from Williams and Malik Thomas brought the green and gold within one, 34-33. Trading blows for the next ten minutes or so, the Dons stayed on the heels of the Redhawks and kept it a one point game, 45-44, following a free throw from Sharavjamts at the 9:14 mark.
- Less than two minutes later, USF took their first lead of the evening, 48-47, on a pair of free throws from Williams at 7:38. Adding to the advantage, baskets from Sharavjamts and Williams pushed the score to 55-50 in favor of San Francisco with 3:22 left in regulation.
- After a three-pointer from Tyson knotted the game up at 55 at the 2:25 mark, Williams put the Dons on top for good with a jumper in the paint at 2:01.
- Down the stretch, Seattle U showed fight as they came back within one, 58-57, after a jumper from Brandon Chatfield with just under one minute left. Converting at the line just enough to hold onto their lead, the green and gold found one final stop on defense to close the contest and secure the 62-59 victory to record their third consecutive win.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- Enjoying a career night offensively, Sharavjamts poured in a career-high 18 points on 6-of-12 from the field, which included sinking 4-of-5 from the charity stripe. Notably, the guard also finished 2-of-4 from beyond-the-arc with three assists and one rebound in 35 minutes played.
- Alongside Sharavjamts, Williams tied his teammate with 18 points as he also shot 6-of-12 from the floor. Notably, he sank 4-of-6 from the free throw line to go along with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
- Providing a spark off the bench, Thomas was named Player of the Game after tallying 13 points (4-9 FG) while tying Seattle U's Kobe Williamson with a game-high 7 rebounds. Overall, he also added 1 assist as he was a perfect 4-of-4 on free throws.
- As a unit, San Francisco led Seattle U in points in the paint (22), points off turnovers (13-11), fast break points (6-0) and bench points (18-9).

San Francisco will hit the road for a matchup in Salt Lake City this weekend as the Dons are set to take on Utah State in a neutral site matchup at the Delta Center, home of the Utah Jazz, this Saturday, Dec. 16.
