LONG BEACH, Calif. – After posting a road win last weekend, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team (3-7), travels to take on Long Beach State (4-4) in its final non-conference road game at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Walter Pyramid.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- San Francisco is coming off its first road win of the season, defeating Portland State 74-63 last Saturday at Viking Pavilion. Luana Leite and Debora dos Santos paced the Dons to victory, with Leite leading the team in scoring with a career-high 23 points, while dos Santos added 19 points and a career-high 17 rebounds.
- Leite, who surpassed the 20-point threshold in a game for the first time in her Division I career, shot 64.3 percent (nine-for-14) from the field and added two rebounds, four assists, and a team-high three steals. Reaching double figures for the second consecutive game, Leite increased her scoring average to 8.0 points per game, ranking third-best on the team.
- After posting 17 rebounds against the Vikings, dos Santos is averaging 9.7 rebounds per game, ranking first in the WCC and 36th nationally.
- Jasmine Gayles continues to lead the Dons in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game, ranking fifth in the WCC. Gayles reached double figures for the seventh time this season after scoring 12 points in the win over Portland State.
- As a team, San Francisco ranks sixth in the WCC in scoring (65.2 points per game), fourth in free throw percentage (71.5 percent), third in rebounds per game (38.7), and fifth in three-point field goals made (6.1 per game).
SCOUTING THE BEACH:
- Long Beach State is coming off a 90-86 home loss to WCC foe Pacific last Saturday.
- Through eight games this season, Savannah Tuckers leads the Beach offensively, averaging 14 points per game with a 41.6 field-goal percentage. Tucker has scored in double figures in six games including a season-high 25 points in a win over Biola in the season opener.
- Defensively, the Beach has multiple players leading the team, with Tucker leading in defensive rebounds (3.5 per game), Davai Matthews in blocks (1.3 per game), and Sydney Woodley in steals (3.0 per game).
SERIES HISTORY:
Tuesday's meeting will be the 14th all-time meeting between the two programs. Long Beach State holds a narrow 7-6 advantage over San Francisco since the first-ever meeting in the 1979-80 season. The Dons have come out victorious in the last three matchups, including earning a 74-50 victory over the Beach last season at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
