AZUSA, Calif.—The Dons wrap up their last meet of the regular season at the 2023 Azusa Last Chance Meet, with a small but quality group, as all three athletes have put themselves in the mix to extend their outdoor seasons at regionals in 2 weeks time.
Hannah Anderson kicked things off on Friday night debuting in her first 10,000 meter race as a Don. Anderson executed an absolutely perfect race, securing herself a personal best time and a potential west regional qualifying mark. Olivia Alexandre competed in the 400 meter hurdles on Saturday night, crossing the line just outside of her personal best and is also sitting in a very promising position to qualify for regionals. Senior Abby Pradere closed out the competition in her pet event the 1,500 meters. Pradere has shown great resilience over the season and saw it pay off this weekend, as she also earns a new personal best time and puts herself in contention for a west regional qualifier.
