PORTLAND, Ore/LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The majority of the Dons closed out their outdoor seasons this weekend, as the men and women were split across meets at the Portland Twilight and the Oxy Invite. On the men's side at the Oxy Invite, seniors
Caleb Haugland and
Hiruy Alemseged raced for the last time as Dons in the 5,000 meters. While
Carter Lewis posted another sub two-minute performance in the 800 meters to close out his season.
On the women's side at the Portland Twilight,
Rayne Anwar lead the way for USF in the 100 meters, also racing for the last time as a Don, and
Tatumn LaChapelle excelled in the 200 meters crossing the line in second place.
Olivia Alexandre continues to excel in the 800 meters, posting another personal best time.
Abby Pradere remained consistent in the 1,500 meters, and will have one last crack at the west-regional qualifier next weekend.
Baneet Bains placed third in the steeple-chase and
Grace Copeland smashed her personal best in the 5,000 meters.
