SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco men's tennis program and head coach JT Sundling officially announced the program's spring schedule on Wednesday.
 
"We are excited for the spring season, " said head coach JT Sundling. "We have a great home schedule lined up and look forward to competing with our guys. The team is fired up and we are ready to get started. Let's go Dons!"
 
Competing in 19 total matches in 2023, San Francisco will return Davide Cortimiglia, Moritz Hoffman and Nikola Kuraica from last year's roster. Just a few months back, Hoffman reached the men's singles finals of the Kunal Patel SF Open on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Golden Gate Park.
 
Beginning on Friday, the Dons will kick off their spring schedule by competing in the National Collegiate Tennis Classic in Palm Desert from Jan. 12-14. After this tournament, USF will participate in one more neutral site match on Feb. 3 as they face off against UC San Diego in Malibu followed by a road contest at Pepperdine on Feb. 4.
 
Five days later, the green and gold return to the City by the Bay for three-plus weeks as the Dons will host eight straight home matches beginning on Feb. 9 vs. Sacramento State (Goldman Tennis Center) and wrapping up with a battle against Weber State on Mar. 4 (Goldman Tennis Center).
 
Traveling to the state capital a few days later, San Francisco will compete in the Sacramento State Tournament on Mar. 8 + 9.
 
Returning back to the City, USF will host four straight home matches beginning with a home matchup on Mar. 11 against Northern Arizona and concluding with a showdown on Mar. 24 against Pacific. Playing their final games on the road the week after, San Francisco will trek to Portland, Gonzaga and LMU before concluding the regular season against Saint Mary's in San Francisco on Apr. 20.
