SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference (WCC) officially announced on Wednesday afternoon that junior
Lindsey Chau has earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors for the 2024 season.
"Lindsey has put a lot of work into her game this past spring and also leading into the season," said head coach
Pinder Nijjar. "I know she has loftier goals than honorable mention, but it is a platform and a base to grow from and to inspire and motivate her for more individual postseason recognition moving into her senior season. I am proud of the way Lindsey carries herself. She is a very strong-willed, disciplined athlete and I admire and acknowledge her competitiveness and drive to succeed."
Â
Earning this honor for the second time in her career, Chau played in all 18 matches for San Francisco this fall, which included making 17 starts. Across these matches, Chau finished with two goals, two assists and six points while also leading the Dons with 38 shots and 13 shots on goal.
Â
Notably, her first goal of the campaign came in USF's 3-0 win over San Diego on Aug. 18. Overall, Chau also finished fifth in total minutes with 1,186.
Â
Previously, Chau was also named an Honorable Mention in 2022 alongside being named to the WCC All-Freshman Team.
