SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference officially announced on Monday morning that
Ryan Beasley has been named the conference's Freshman of the Week for men's basketball.

Providing a spark off the bench,
Ryan Beasley finished with 19 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds across 49 minutes for the Dons this week. Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 20, the first-year guard shot 3-of-6 to finish with 9 points on the road at Saint Mary's.Â

Less than two days later, the San Ramon native finished with 10 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds in USF's 92-68 win over Pepperdine on Saturday, Feb. 24. Overall, he shot 6-of-11 across the two games, including knocking down 3-of-7 from distance.

Overall, this marks the second Freshman of the Week honor for Beasley and the sixth weekly honor for San Francisco this season.
