SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference officially announced on Monday morning that
Ryan Beasley has been named the conference's Freshman of the Week for men's basketball.

This honor marks the third time overall and second straight week in which Beasley has been awarded WCC Freshman of the Week.

Putting together another dominant week for the Dons,
Ryan Beasley impressed in the backcourt for San Francisco yet again. Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 29, the freshman finished with 14 points on 6-of-11 from the field, including 2-of-4 from beyond-the-arc against No. 23/22 Gonzaga. Additionally, he also pulled down a season-high six rebounds against the Bulldogs while adding two assists and two steals in 30 minutes of action.Â

Less than two days later, the San Ramon native followed this performance by pouring in a team-high 18 points in 33 minutes on the road at Santa Clara. Notably, he also tallied four rebounds, four steals and 2 assists against the Broncos. Overall, Beasley averaged 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game on 46.2 percent shooting (12-26) this past week for San Francisco.
