Kwasnica Paces Dons at SF State Invitational

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country teams returned to the Bay on Friday afternoon and competed in the SF State Invitational at Golden Gate Park.

- Competing without its top runners, both programs earned no team scores as both had four athletes compete.
- In the women's 6k, Marlee Kwasnica paced the Dons as she earned an 11th-place finish out of 129 competitors.
- Kwasnica's time of 22:17.7 was her second-best overall time in the event, coming 12.7 seconds shy of matching her career-best time of 22:03.0 set at the UC Riverside Invitational earlier this season.
- On the men's side, Zach Danielson secured a 33rd-place finish at 26:03.0 in his third-career meet.
- Ben Olney and Devin Price were also among the freshmen runners competing in the men's 8k.
