DONS AT A GLANCE:
- San Francisco enters its second WCC contest following a 74-65 loss at home to Oregon State on Sunday, Dec. 28.
- For the third time this season, four players scored in double figures, led by Aina Cargol's 15 points, her second straight double-digit scoring performance.
- Along with Cargol's offensive production, Candy Edokpaigbe, Noelia Mouriño, and Nataša Taušová recorded 14, 12, and 11 points, respectively.
- Cargol, the freshman guard, has impressed in the last three games, averaging 12.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. As a team, the Dons shot over 80 percent from the free-throw line for the fourth straight game, knocking down 86.7 percent of their attempts against the Beavers. Edokpaigbe led the way, going a perfect eight-for-eight, and continues to lead the team at the charity stripe this season at 79.6 percent.
- Despite only securing three rebounds against the Beavers, Mouriño leads the team and ranks eighth in the WCC in rebounding at 6.3 per game. She has collected 75 total rebounds through 12 contests, including a season-best 17 at Long Beach State.
SCOUTING THE PILOTS:
- Portland opened the West Coast Conference schedule on the road and defeated Saint Mary's with a 63-59 come-from-behind victory on Sunday, Dec. 28. Trailing by as much as seven points in the second half, the Pilots erased the deficit in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Gaels, 14-6, to secure the win.
- Dyani Ananiev leads Portland in scoring through the team's 13 games this season, averaging 10.6 points per game. Appearing in 12 games with 12 starts, Ananiev has recorded 10 or more points eight times, while registering a season-high 17 in the win over Portland State.

In 13 games this season, Dalan has recorded four or more blocks in a game six times, including a season-best eight at Southern California on November 18.
- Portland ended its nonconference schedule on the road, when it defeated Portland State 98-53 on Sunday, Dec. 21, at Viking Pavilion. The Pilots' 98 points in the contest were the most the program has scored in a game against a Division I opponent this season, and the most in regulation against a Division I opponent since 2009, when they scored the same amount against Sacramento State.
