CORVALLIS, Ore. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's basketball team (9-6, 1-1 WCC) fell out of rhythm in the second half on Tuesday night as Oregon State (8-7, 1-1 WCC) defeated the Dons, 70-62, at Gill Coliseum.

USF had three players score in double figures, led by David Fuchs, who secured a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Ryan Beasley tacked on 13 points and three steals while Tyrone Riley IV helped out with 12 points.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

• Despite scoring the first four points of the game, San Francisco entered a scoring drought and would fall behind 21-9. San Francisco then responded by reeling off a 14-0 run with 7:28 left in the first half to take a 23-21 lead. The Dons added three points to that lead by the end of the period and entered halftime with a 30-25 advantage. San Francisco was strong on the glass in the opening frame, collecting five offensive rebounds to score 11 second chance points.
• Coming out of the locker room, Oregon State proceeded to take a 61-53 lead before San Francisco went on a 5-0 run to shrink the deficit to 61-58 with 2:22 to go in the contest. The Beavers punched back and outscored the Dons down the stretch, holding on to secure a 70-62 victory.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

• Fuchs notched his second double-double as a Don with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
• Beasley tied his season-high by notching three steals against Oregon State.
• Riley IV finished in double figures for the tenth time in 15 games so far this season.
• As a team, San Francisco led the Beavers in points in the paint (24-18), points off turnovers (14-10), second chance points (11-3), and fast break points (11-4).
