SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -
Jay Duncan, an assistant coach for the University of San Francisco men's basketball program, is one of 75 honorees invited to this year's Silver Waves Media Elite 75 Future Head Coach Power Lunch on Thursday, Apr. 3 at The Creamery District in San Antonio, Texas.
Â
The event is one of the most prestigious in college basketball every year. Last year, 10 of the 50 coaches selected to attend became Division I head coaches. The event will include more than 60 athletics directors, assistant ADs and presidents, who will participate in five-minute speed dating rounds with the lunch participants.
Â
Duncan is in his third year as an assistant coach for the Dons after joining the staff when
Chris Gerlufsen was hired in 2022. San Francisco has eclipsed 20 wins in all three seasons Duncan has been on the Hilltop.
