SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference officially announced its All-Academic honors for the 2024-25 women's basketball season on Wednesday morning.
Four members of the University of San Francisco women's basketball progam achieved recognition, with
Cami Fulcher and
Freja Werth selected to the WCC All-Academic Team and
Aya Kéita and
Luana Leite earning Honorable Mention honors. Overall, this marks the second straight year Fulcher and Kéita have been honored by the league for their academic achievements.
Student-athletes in each sport must meet all the following standards:
- A minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average (GPA) based on the most recently completed term at the time of the nomination
- Be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials
- Have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with at least one year in residence completed at the nominating institution. (True freshmen, redshirt freshmen and ineligible transfers may not be nominated)
- Participate in at least 50 percent of the institution's completed contests
