Ryan Yablonsky Joins Women's Basketball Coaching Staff

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's basketball team and Head Coach Molly Goodenbour have announced the hiring of Ryan Yablonsky as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

"We are really pleased to bring Ryan to the Hilltop," Goodenbour said. "He is an enthusiastic, hard-working, and dedicated young coach with outstanding character and a true passion for coaching. His energy and love for basketball are contagious, and he will be a great asset to our team."

Yablonsky enters his first season on the Hilltop after spending one season as an assistant coach at San Diego. In his one season with the Toreros, he worked closely with All-WCC selections Kylie Horstmeyer and Truitt Reilly while helping develop opponent scouting reports.

Yablonsky joined the Toreros following a successful tenure as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater, Texas. During his time with the program, he was heavily involved in opposition scouting, guard and post player development, and leading the undergraduate student managers. In addition, Yablonsky assisted in recruiting efforts and helped recruit practice players for the program.

As a graduate assistant, he helped guide the Longhorns to a 59-15 record across two seasons, including a 33-5 mark in 2023-24. He was also part of a team that earned a No. 1 seed in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament for the first time since 2004 and made a trip to the Elite Eight for the third time in the last four seasons.
